UCLA Staff Highlight

Dennis Lyday UCLA Alumni BA '68 MA '71 '75

"I did both my undergrad and graduate degrees at UCLA, and started as a fulltime staff member in the Student Affairs area in 1980. I spent the final and longest portion of my career in the area called Student and Campus Life where I worked with both student groups and our outstanding Staff Welfare and Development program. I retired last June, but have kept strong ties with the campus. My main connection is through coordinating UCLA's Campus Cat Network, which is made up more than 20 staff members who volunteer to take care of the dozen or so feral cats that live on campus - including Powell Cat. I can be reached at dlyday@ucla.edu if you'd like information on joining the group."
