Be Alert Bruins: Utility Carts Are Not Toys

UCLA Transportation is launching its 8th Annual Be Alert Bruins driver safety campaign this month. With the steady increase in utility cart incidents reported at UCLA, this year's campaign is "Utility Carts Are Not Toys: Drive With Care".

UCLA’s vehicle loss data shows that 13 incidents involving a utility cart have occurred since 2011, resulting in two serious injuries and over a quarter million dollars in costs. Five of those incidents occurred in 2016 alone.

Take our "Drive With Care" safety quiz and be automatically entered to win one of four emergency kits ($49.95 value).
