Join us in supporting staff scholarships

It is not too late to join our SPARK campaign with the goal of raising scholarship funds for deserving employees. I hope you consider investing in us. Please, learn more about our campaign by visiting spark.ucla.edu/StaffAssembly, and consider making a donation of any amount.

Last year, UCLA Staff Assembly ran a successful SPARK campaign enabling us to provide scholarships to UCLA’s talented and dedicated staff members. These funds allowed them to capitalize on opportunities such as enrollment for classes through UCLA Extension and registration fees for professional conferences. This was made possible by the generous support of many of UCLA’s 40,000+ staff members and the larger Bruin community.

Thank you for your support!

ANNOUNCEMENTS
UCLA University Women's Leadership Academy Empowering Courageous Leaders of Change

UCLA University Women's Leadership Academy

for Mid-Career Women  - with the Courage to Lead

UCLA University Women's Leadership Academy (UWLA) for Mid-Career University Women with the Courage to Lead is designed by women university leaders specifically for university mid-career women. It re-imagines university leadership in which the voices, objectives and values of women are magnified. It was constructed to alter the status of university mid-career women. Despite the fact the more than half of all university administrators are women, they hold less than 40% of the executive leadership roles. The pay gap between female and male administrators is widespread.

UCLA’s University Women’s Leadership Academy (UWLA) seeks to correct this imbalance through its professional development program and to expand the influence of mid-career women leaders. The Academy developed from the conviction that women must advocate for themselves and invest in their own leadership development—thereby expanding their professional opportunities.

Application Deadline: January 4, 2021
Virtual program sessions are 2/20/21 - 6/3/21

For further information, contact Dr. Linda Rose.
