UCLA Recreation Summer Camps 2017

Applications for the 2017-2019
Staff Advisor to the Regents


We are pleased to announce that eligible UC staff and non-Senate academic employees who are interested in serving as the 2017-2019 Staff Advisor to the UC Board of Regents may apply for the position through March 10, 2017, at 5 p.m.

The Staff Advisor Program provides the opportunity for two staff and/or non-Senate academic employees to participate in open sessions of designated committees of the Board. One new Staff Advisor is selected each year for a two-year term and he/she brings the voice and perspective of staff and non-Senate academic employees to Board deliberations.

    You are eligible to serve in this role if you:
  • Are a staff or non-Senate academic employee. The seat is open to both non-represented and represented employees.
  • Have at least five years of UC service.
The term for the Staff Advisor position that is currently open for applications runs from July 2017 to June 2019. For more information about Staff Advisors, visit the Staff Advisors’ website at: http://staffadvisors.universityofcalifornia.edu.

For employees without computer or internet access, hard copies of the application and all relevant information are available at the Campus Human Resources reception desk, Suite 200, Wilshire Center.

One Bus, One Cause

It is a new year with new One Bus, One Cause service projects!

One Bus, One Cause volunteers visit unique Community Partner sites to learn about various causes and organizations and complete vital service work. Bruins and friends are invited to sign up today for upcoming Winter Quarter projects, which include beautifying work at Gledhill Elementary School and assembling care packages for U.S. service members at Operation Gratitude. Transportation from campus and food are provided. Hope to see you on the bus!
